This dramatic landscape photography walk begins at the car park by the water's edge at Exceat.

We'll go through some of the basic manual photography settings before heading straight up the hill for some excellent views of the snaking River Cuckmere.

After taking in the sights we follow the path higher still along the South Downs Way, towards the cliff edge there are outstanding views over both the estuary and the Seven Sisters towards Birling Gap.

We'll then make our way down to the beach to capture a brilliant sunset. If there is a low tide, we'll have the possibility of venturing onto the sands and viewing the reflections of the cliffs from further out.

The return walk is along the easy paved river path and then upwards for a final view of the meandering ox-bow river.

Things to bring

Camera, sturdy walking shoes, water/flask with tea, fruit/choc, a tripod if you have one, spare batteries if you have them, warm clothing hat/gloves.

If the weather is atrocious the workshop will be postponed to a later date. You can then either get a refund or of course retain your place for a future workshop.
