Sussex Landscape Photographer
Photographs of Sussex and the South Downs
Sussex is filled with big open skies, meandering rivers, picturesque fields, ancient woodlands, rural valleys and dramatic coastal cliffs. It's a fantastic location to photograph landscapes and I'm delighted to have such diverse surroundings on my doorstep. It's also the perfect setting to run my Sussex photography courses and workshops. These take place on-location in Lewes, Hastings and overlooking the Seven Sisters Cliffs.
Iconic scenes such as the Lighthouse at Beachy Head, the Fishermans Cottages by Seaford, The Seven Sisters cliffs and Birling Gap never fail to create wonderful Sussex landscape photographs. Brighton, Lewes, Hastings and Rye also offer endless opportunities for photographers.
When I'm not taking photographs at one of the above locations, I'm either in the enchanting woodlands, photographing the South Downs or in my garden planting vegetables.
Best of all is the opportunity to walk from my house up onto the South Downs by Firle and look out to the sea, breathe the fresh air and look for new compositions in the landscape for the perfect photograph of Sussex.
My photographs are available for print and digital usage, and for those after a complete selection of Sussex landscapes and towns, I have a large online gallery available for an annual subscription.
