Sussex Event Photographer
As an event and festival photographer in Sussex for nearly a decade, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, including BBC Countryfile, Visit Eastbourne, Wakehurst-Kew Gardens, Nyetimber Vineyard, Brighton College, Leonardslee Gardens, Bolney Vineyard, Charleston House and Garden, Rathfinny Vineyard, the Firle Estate, and many more. These esteemed organizations have entrusted me to capture the essence of their events, festivals, performances, and gatherings.
Over the years, I have had the opportunity to photograph a multitude of events, each unique in its own right. From the enchanting realms of illuminated gardens and captivating light trails, to the energy and rhythm emanating from musicians and performers on stage, I have sought to immortalize these enthralling moments through the lens of my camera. My assignments have also included capturing the vibrancy and excitement of exhibition openings and events in esteemed museums and galleries, as well as vineyard events, major motorsport gatherings, garden festivals, and tree planting ceremonies – just to name a few.
However, it is the family, music, and art festivals that truly hold a special place in my heart. Year after year, I have been fortunate enough to return to these cherished occasions, where I have witnessed the power of music, art, and community unite in perfect harmony. Green Gathering, Buddhafield Festival, Into the Wild, Lewes Bonfire Procession, and Brighton Fringe are just a few of the festivals that have become an indispensable part of my annual calendar. It brings me great joy knowing that I am trusted with the responsibility of preserving these timeless moments of laughter, connection, and celebration.
When I embark on an event photography assignment, I always strive to capture the raw and unfiltered essence of the occasion. Natural light becomes my ally as I navigate the event, seeking out those unstaged, documentary-style shots that truly encapsulate the energy and spirit of the event. It is through these candid photographs that the emotions, expressions, and movements of the participants come alive, telling a story that words alone cannot convey. Every event has its unique set of requirements, often outlined within a brief, and I ensure that I am well-versed in these nuances to deliver photographs that meet and exceed expectations.
Beyond events and festivals, I also extend my services to corporate event photography and theatre production photos. This versatility allows me to apply my skills and expertise to a variety of settings, translating the atmosphere.
