As an event and festival photographer in Sussex for nearly a decade, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, including BBC Countryfile, Wakehurst-Kew Gardens, Visit England, Leonardslee Gardens, and Bolney Vineyard, among others. These esteemed organizations have entrusted me to capture the essence of their events, festivals, performances, and gatherings.
From the enchanting worlds of illuminated gardens and captivating light trails to the energy and rhythm of musicians and performers on stage, I strive to immortalize these moments through my camera lens. My assignments have also included capturing the vibrancy and excitement of exhibition openings and events in prestigious museums and galleries, as well as vineyard events, major motorsport gatherings, garden festivals, and tree planting ceremonies, to name a few.
However, family, music, and art festivals hold a special place in my heart. Year after year, I am fortunate enough to return to these beloved occasions, where I witness the power of music, art, and community coming together in perfect harmony. Festivals like the Green Gathering, Buddhafield Festival, Into the Wild, Lewes Bonfire Procession, and Brighton Fringe have become indispensable parts of my annual calendar. It brings me great joy to know I have the responsibility of preserving these timeless moments of laughter, connection, and celebration.
When I undertake an event photography assignment, I strive to capture the raw and unfiltered essence of the occasion. Natural light is my ally as I navigate the event, seeking out unstaged, documentary-style shots that truly encapsulate the energy and spirit of the gathering. Through these candid photographs, the emotions, expressions, and movements of the participants come alive, telling a story that words alone cannot convey. Every event has its unique requirements, often detailed in a brief, and I ensure I am well-versed in these nuances to deliver photographs that meet and exceed expectations.
In addition to events and festivals, I also offer corporate event photography and theatre production photography. This versatility allows me to apply my skills and expertise to a variety of settings, effectively translating the atmosphere into memorable images.
